Bohemian/Japan Fusion

Heyy Guys,

For this looking, i got inspired by a flickr photo I randomly stumbled upon. I instantly fell in love with what I thought was a kimono, I soon found that its called a Haori; really a different name for a kimono. Yeah go figure, right. Anyways, i found this style haori at tomoto. Which is a very asian/japanes/chinese inspired outdoor store. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I wanted thsi haori to stand out more so i put on a white top and white jeans. Then to add some color, I added green heels to compliment the green in the haori.

Heyy Guys,

I hope your holidays were festive and fun filled...I for one had a great one myself, anyways, back to fashion. A couple days ago I got the notice that most everyone waits for, The Dressing Room's new clothing releases. Like most times I'm there, I usually will get R.icelli clothing. This time was a bit different, instead of having one outfit or piece of clothing, we got treated to a whole set of clothing. I got two short jackets (one in pink and one in light purple), a hot pink minidress, a dark pink sequince bra, and a light purple jumpsuit.

My two favorite pieces of clothing are the hot pink mini with a pink jacket and the light purple jumpsuit I mean what blonde dosn't look amazing in pink? I also really love the detailing on the joint areas on the clothing for the jumpsuit. It kind of reminds me of Britney Spear's jumpsuit in the Oops, I did it again music video. I mean with some differences.

Adopt-A-Family Tres Beau Exclusive Ballgown

Hey Guys,

Yesterday was the 2nd Annual Adopt-A-Family Christmas Benefit Fashion Show. It went so well and I had a blast being a model in this charity show. I wanted to show you my favorite outfit I got to wear in the show. It is a ballgown exclusively created by Kimmera Madison. It's golden with fading light to dark colors on it. It also has a really big and cute golden rose on the hip.

We also had to wear jewelry from Mood and Finesmith Design, I was fortunate enough to be wearing Finesmith Design. In this picture, I'm wearing Chloe's Hallusination Necklace. What i love about this piece of jewelry is that settles on the top of shoulders and not the neck itself. I has big pieces of jews on the left side of the necklace.

Overall, I really loved walking in this benefit and I really hope next yet I get to be apart of it again. Thank you Lacie for this great opportunity, and bless you as always.

It Lives...

Hello Little Monsters,

The day has finally come...Ash's Trash has released one of my most favorite, if not favorite Lady Gaga outfit she has ever worn, The Living Dress. Yes, The Living Dress lives; this amazing outfit done by Ash's Trash owner Ashleey Andrew. She is a wizard at the sculpties and textures. This dress has it all; the wings that are at the back of the dress, the headpieces, and the flowing crystalized train. I do have to confess, this dress isn't "alive" like how the RL dress is, but i mean I still give this dress 9.999999% out of 10. Like i think if i could, I would wear it everywhere.

Hello Little Monsters,

Today i found one of the most excited things ever...well maybe second most exciting thing ever. It is a replica of the hair style that Lady GaGa wore on her CD cover of The Fame Monster. Originally, i believe this hair style is related most the ancient asian hair style for women, but that is a total guess. I tried to do my own version of the CD cover by wearing a long black coat form Muism paired with studded bikini bottoms from The Fame. The heel-less shoes that are very Lady GaGa are from Ash's Trash....

Adopt-A-Family Benefit

Hey Everyone,

I really wanted to talk about this great cause that Lacie Beningborough and others are putting on. The event is called Adopt-A-Family Benefit which raises money for those families, in the real world, in need during the holidays. This is the second year that Lacie has put on this show. It would be amazing if you guys could take time out of your busy schedules to come and donate to this worthy cause. I am blessed to be apart of the benefit show so please come and enjoy it. Ohh, did I forget to mention that all of the outfits shown in the show are up to be auctioned off after the show to the highest bidders. Christmas is coming and for many of us, it is a time of joy, family, happiness and cheer. We look forward to seeing family and friends, to laughter, and togetherness.
For some though, the holiday season is a time filled with stress and worry. These difficult economic times that we live in bring that much more stress to this time of year.
That is why I have founded the Adopt A Family Benefit.

This began in November of 2009, when it was brought to my attention that a family was in very dire need that year. They were in jeopardy of losing everything, the husband had just lost his job and she had two chronically ill children.

I was so saddened by this that I began this benefit for her.
In three weeks, to my astonishment, we were able to raise a tremendous amount of USD for this family.

I said it would become a tradition, and with that promise behind me, I am back to do it again this year.
This time I would like to help more than one family. I would like to help as many families as I possibly can.

I approached Mr. Frolic Mills about this and he has donated the Patch Thibaud Auditorium and the possible inclusion of the new MISS VIRTUAL WORLD alongside with the contest's finalists.

"Since we don't know who they will be yet, we can't confirm the assistance of them all, but we will do our best." He said.

We are hoping this will be an opportunity to see the newly crowned queen in her first show !

CheerNo Femme Look

Hey Guys,

I think i have fallen in love with Avant Garde clothing again. So of course when I think of avant garde, i go to CheerNo. There I saw this theatrical shoulder-pads that have feathers on them. I really love how they kind of extend the clothing out and not just keeping everything in and tight. Next, the pants i saw after I saw the shoulder-pads. What i like about these pants is for one; their high waisted making it very fashion forward. Also there are wings that come off the thigh; again, extending out the pants. Finally, the shoes i luckily had them from a long time ago when CheerNo Femme first opened it's doors. The color does say Cod Gray, but their more black then any other color. I hope you enjoy this look and hopefully will go and get similar looks of your very own.

So last thursday, a friend of mine and me went to the wonderful and "unique" One Eleven Sale. Yes the infamous sale where there is only 111 of each item in this extravaganza. We had been looking around for cute clothing and I found this jacket, by BALACLABA, in the men's section that I have seen before but never thought to get it. But right then and there i knew I had to have it and with most of the money coming form Vittoria, my friend, i got my jacket(s). Yes i say jackets because it comes with both a black and navy blue jackets.

I like that is screams men jacket, but yet it still looks good on my female avatar. I paired this jacket with my brown hair form LoQ and Tyrannay blue jeans. LOL

World AIDS Day

Hey Everyone,

Some of you may or may not know; but today is World AIDS Day. This day is to bring to the top all the issues dealing with HIV/AIDS. Millions of people every year are diagnosed with HIV and AIDS and this senseless disease can be stopped, simply by getting tested and using protection. So please, go to your local health clinic and get your test. If can be anonymous and confidential.

I would like to share with you my experience with HIV/AIDS. Last March, I got tested for HIV, I am happy to say I am negative, but the days leading up to the testing were the worst days of my life. I had to bear it alone, and I could really only tell a few people what I am going through. I remember my first appointment i was suppose to go to. I had to wake up at 9am to go. The night before I cried for a good 20 minutes by myself. I know this is gunna sound stupid, but all i listened to was Lady GaGa and kept asking why I have to go through this by myself. The next day came and I totally missed my appointment. So i called the clinic and got another appointment, this time after class a week later.

I made my way to the clinic, i can remember my heart was beating so fast as i got closer and closer to the clinic. I finally made it and i had to sign in. I had to fillout what my sexual orientation was and if I wanted this to go on my files or just give me a number to use. There were alot of women with babies and teenagers in the waiting room with me. I kind of felt out of place, just because I had never been to a free clinic before.

I got called back and went with this amazing woman. I forget her name, but I remember she said she like to say she was from brazil, but she was really from costa rica HAHA. She also acted kind of under the influence, but it she was still awesome and funny; she made the testing go so smoothly for me. I got the 10-15 minute testing, which is just as accurate as the week long testing. So i got my middle finger pricked and wait for what seemed to be years to hear that I was HIV negative. I hugged that woman and she gave me condoms LOL, i know that sounds weird, but they gave me two bags of free condoms. I walked out the door and called my best friends to tell them I was negative. It seriously was the greatest feeling in the world to know I was negative.

And I want all of you to know that same feeling by GETTING YOUR TEST.

NEW LOOK AND UPDATING

Hallo,

What has been happening with you guys?? Well for me alot has been going on. I just had one of mu first official fashion shows on Thursday. It was for YDEA clothing. My look was called "Lady". It was like a one button-up brown top with cream pants. It came with sunglasses and earrings, but I added names, blonde hair in a pony tail, and calf-high boots. The show wasn't a normal fashion show either, it was in a club setting where each model would go up on a stage they had and did 8-10 poses. I actually had a lot of fun doing it.

Besides thats, I might get to be a model in the adopt-a-family at Christmas show in December. It's be put together all by Lacie Beningborough. I actually was in her modeling academy, Catalyst of Fantasy, before she closed it down. So thats how first heard of Lacie, but then I heard about her show shes doing by my friend and Modeling instructor Glitter Bolissima. She is such an amazing person and great friend. She too is in the adopt-a-family modeling show. So I really hope we both get to be in the actual show.

But i digress, this post is about my new look, thanks to Ms. Bolissima. My new shape is looking more Icelandic/Asian, which i am in love with. I also have changed the hair to be more red (ginger) lol and darker colors. But i still have the blonde hair, which i love love love. Most of the clothing and skin i have now are from the best store in the grid, The Dressing Room. This place has some of the best designers in Second Life, what happens is that these designers will give TDR an item of clothing, outfit, jewelry, hair, skin, anything really and TDR will sell the item for under 70L. Yes, you can get a well quality skin for under 70L. I couldnt believe it, this skin i have now comes with make-up tattoos, hairbases, and cleavage enhancer.

I know this was a lot for a post, but I wanted to talk about what i've been up to, whats has changed in my life, fashion wise, and modeling oppurtunities that I hope i get to see through.

I am so happy that I got my hands on this amazing dress. Yes, it is the one and only dress that the Ultimate Pop Singer and my idol, Lady Gaga, wore at the 2010 VMA's. This dress was made by the sick Britney Spears and Lady Gaga Second Life Designer, Ashleey Andrew of Ash's Trash. And yes there are two "e"'s in her name.

Just look at the quality of this dress, i mean come on this is one well made dress. I really love the meat shoes that comes with the dress. Like just the attention to the details on this dress is amazing. The only think I added was the fishnets because Lady Gaga seems to wear fishnets all the time now haha..

Bullying Needs To Stop

For the last couple of weeks, recent innocent young people who are gay have committed suicide to get away from the hurtful and unnecessary bullying by people they know and who think that what they are is wrong. I am here to tell you there is nothing wrong with loving a man if your a man or loving a woman if your a woman.

These young people have had to put up with so much bullying and ridicule that they thought the only way out was to die. I am here to say that is the absolute wrong thing to do. It gets better my friends, it truly does. Bullying someone who is out and proud of who they are, makes me sick. What give that person the right to torture and humiliate someone just because of who they love. If someone's life is different then their own, that doesnt make them targets, they are just different.

What I am doing to support this is just getting the information out and acting on the behalf of people who are being bullied. I will give you one instance where I, myself was bullied in second life. I was with some friends are a beaches in on the grid. This sim just happened to be a gay beach only. Now I was a girl at the time that I was there, so where the other people I was with. As soon as we teleported in, we were ridiculed and spammed with messages saying get out of our sim, we dont want you here. After all this spamming and ridicule, we were ejected out of the sim by the sim owner or someone who has the power to eject.

How can gay people discriminate against fellow gay men just because we were dressed as girls. How wrong is that? How can they stand up for equality when they themselves discriminate against gay people. That just made no sense to me at all, dose it to you?

Whether here in the virtual world, or out on the streets of RL, support needs to be shown in preventing this from happening more and more. Just knowing that someone, like you, is out there makes everything alot better.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hey Guys,

So this is a kind of PSA type of post today. I wanted to bring up the topic of Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers that kill womean anual besides skin cancer. So in October, which is known for Halloween, it was named a month dedicated to spreading awareness of breast cancer. During this month, many different charities are held like Race for the Cure and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Both starting in the United States and going global for everyone to help find a cure for breast cancer.

Please, if you are a women that is reading my blog, please please please get a mammogram. If you can't get a mammogram, the alternative best way would be a self examination. Either in the shower or in front of a mirror. Feel your breast; use your left hand to feel your right breast and the right hand to feel your left breast. This self examination can be used for both men and women.

Remember, early discovery of breast cancer is key and gives the most amount of choices for treatment.

New Dresses...LOVE LOVE LOVE

Hey Hey, IMMM BACK!!

So school has been hecktic for me irl sooooo I really havent had much time to update this. But what im showing you are two dress I am in deep love with.

The first dress is a ultra-cute off the shoulder pink minidress. I like the added sparkly kind of sash tat goes across the chest. I got this dress at The Dressing Room, which is seriously the best place ever. You must go there when you have a chance, seriously. Also I bought there the shoes im wearing. Arn't they the cutest. In both dresses, I have on new shorter hair by TRUTH, I was told it looks like I rolled right out of bed, and it was perfect LOL, thanks Dorian.

The next dress is a very cute black dress that skews out to the right. It has accented with white flowers on the dress and around the waist. Then around the bust are black flowers. Again, I pair this dress with some cute slingback.

Sorry that ive been negeticing this blog, ive been in school for a couple of weeks so ive been getting use to it all over again soooo....yeah but i hope two for the one blog will make it up...

First off, i have this so cute pink jacket i got from this great little building...Its called the Dressing Room, they have uber cheap cute clothing form many of the best designers around. What drew me to this jacket was the shoulders that stick out. I really think it adds a avant garde look to it. To add to this look, i have hair that is longer in the front shorter in the back..think it as a modern reverse female mullet LOL.

I also got this open chest sweater at The Dressing Room. This is a Beige sweater with a glove layer to give it the look of an oversized sweater. This look is very netural and if you wanted to add color just pop on a colorful undershirt or try the Khaki color sweater, its more a green hue to it.

New Look 4 My Male Avatar

Hey Hey Hey,

It time for an avatar update...what do you guys think?? I have brown hair now...what do you think?? I think i really like it. As you may or may not be able to see, its longer in the front and shorter in the back. The skin i have on is from CheerNo, it from the Wady collection. It has a red stripe of color across his eyes.

Now, my clothing chooses are kind of the same. I have on a white jean button-up shirt with a poped color and rolled up sleeves paired with black skinny jeans and a pair of sandels. ITS FINALLY HERE

CheerNo Femme is here and i love love love it. Just look at this dress, who wouldnt love it. At the store, there were about five different dress to choose from. The only difference in dress was the belt color. There was also blue, red, pink, and yellow; but i think the green looks really good, dont you?

Rhude People

I know I know, this is a fashion blog, but i really want to say somethinga about what I have been observing. For the last couple of days I have been notice how rude some people can be in secondlife. For example (without saying names), a young man...mind you this person is older then me; so idk why i said young man. Anywho, this young man was standing infront of me. I have the emerald viewer so i can see avatars crosshairs and when the crosshairs move, that can be an indication that the there is someone there, right? Well i said hello to this person, three eff times and nothing comes out of his mouth, NOTHING.

Now you might think, "oh, you're prolly talking to a stranger".

No i wasn't, it was someone i know, or should i say someone I have talked to and am somewhat of a friend too. He still hasn't said anything to me...and he is moving around the area that I'm in. It just goes to show how some people in secondlife really are RHUDE.

P.S. if someone send you a group invite and that person asked before hand if it alright to send out a group invite, dont be a rude and in local type in all uppercase, DO NOT SEND ME AN ANONYMOUS GROUP INVITE. You could have instead IM that person and asked not to be sent a group invite.

Gaga Tattoos

Long Time No See,

So i know we havent talked very much...LOL, but I at The Fame Monster; the creative mind of Nicoie Pelazzi. She hand-drew most of Lady Gaga's tattoos that have the pleasure of living with her body. I have both the front and the back views of these tattoos. Let's look at them:

First off, here is the front of my avatar. You can see one of Lady Gaga's first tattoos, the peace sign. Next you can see a quote by s&m photographer, Araki. The quote is in german and it says

'Confess to yourself in the deepest hour of the night whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write. Dig deep into your heart, where the answer spreads its roots in your being, and ask yourself solemnly, Must I write?'

Finally, you can see on her shoulder that word "Dad". She got that done for her father when he was having his heart surgery.

Next we have the back of my avatar. You can see at her lower left hip to mid-back, a rose and vine tattoo. Originally, there was a music note there, but she had it covered up by Kat von D. To be honest, i love that she did that...LOL. Then on her left shoulder you can see a tattoo representing her love for Japan.

Going to the Monsterball

Hey Guys,

So am one of the most biggest Lady Gaga fans, if you didn't know that yet. So I am so psyched when I heard one of my friends is going to see her tmw at the Staple Center. I told him to take alot of pics of her and give them to me, is that creepy??

Anywho, I decided since I couldn't be there myself, I would dress my avatar up as if she was going. I have a blue flannel shirt with a flexi-prim attachment over a fan shirt made my +The Fame+. I pair these with skinny jeans and flip flops. What is nice about this outfit is that it can be both for male and female avatars. I hope you enjoy it, and remember...

I was searching through my inventory and i came across this very matrix looking outfit. There is a jacket layer which is from a totally separate designer that made that body suit. Then to add some color, i put on an eletric blue blind fold with the words "GAGA" on them, PUT UR PAWS UP. Oh and i wanted to make a statement so i got a haircut and did a sleek look that reminds me of Posh Spice lol...hope you like it.

WINTER TIME IN JULY PART 2

I know a couple of days ago I did a post about winter wear, but now i did it for my male avatar. I think i look so cute in this outfit. I have darker hair in this picture then the hair my male avatar usually wears. I love it, irl, i usually go darker in the winter also. I have him wearing a plaid scarf and a plaid swear. Hey Guys,

While i was shopping with a very dashing and smexy guy, Thorn Venom...we came to a dandy little shop. You might have heard of it, its called AITUI. They sell clothing, tattoos, skins, ears, and many other emo/grunge styles. I really love this tank, it looks tight around the pec area and i love when tanks do that, or they look very loose.

I paired this with Tyranny Design jeans, yes i know these jeans are ment to be for girls, but i really love how they look on my avatar. This type of look to me just is casual...I really like the casual look on me LOL.

Happy Holidays...In July

Happy Holidays,

I know it's only July, but who hasn;'t heard of Christmas in July...Plus, dont i look so soo cute. I found this Knit cap a long time ago, it's actually a guy's hair/hat, but i think it looks cute on my girl avatar. I got a cut-off short that say "Your Boyfriend Wants Me" rawr. A couple of days ago i ventured to a new store recommended to my by one of my friends. She said that they sell grunge/boho/classy type of clothing. She knew me so well bc that is the kind of style i love for my female avatar. When i got the LM to Tyranny Design, my initial recation was awe, just play awe. The store was custom built for the owner, Tyr Rozenblum. Its very modern with an old fashion flair, if you will.

Tyr clothing totally remind me of like New York. Just the eclectic clothing styles and shape of the clothing scream WEAR ME!! One of my favorite piece of clothing she had is called BoHo Love, its a floor length bohemian inspired dress. Some of her other clothing are modern and punky like another one of my favorites. It's a mini-skirt mixed with suspenders and a white shirt underneath. It has lil skulls on it also, which is just so cute.
