This new release from FINESMITH, Chamonix, is such a breath of fresh air. Kind of ironic because some of the jewelry set was crafted and combined with wood elements. I absolutaly love it when Yula using such strange and unique pieces with her jewelry.
The Chamonix Set is a combination of a bracelet, necklace, and matching earrings all inspired by a forest and the tree roots. Such earthy colors are in this set including coral and turquoise which are fused together with wood pieces that i believe Yula searched for. In addition to these more earthier pieces, there are onyx and white colors with gold and platinum fusions.
The necklace is one of the most interesting and eye-catching pieces in this set because it makes me fantasize about how the red gem remind me of the heart and the ever reaching roots look to be crowing outward across the chest. Binding the jewelry with the person wearing it. For some reason, i makes me think of the Grimm Brothers and their dark fariytales. You can see the same effect of the reaching roots on the bracelet and on both the earrings.
Overall, i really appreciate the fantasized idea of the amalgamation of both precious metals and earthy woods to created what is now the Chamonix Set.
